Bureau Details
As a Speakers’ Bureau, we
provide a service to companies and associations who require
speakers, trainers, facilitators, seminar leaders at
conferences, annual general meetings, retreats and workshops.
We begin by conducting a needs
assessment. We will ask numerous questions including: the date
of the event, location, type of event, speakers you may have
used in the past, topic(s), number of anticipated attendees,
audience profile and budget.
We will then check availability
and select several speakers that may meet your needs and send
you their promotional packets and videotapes. We will
continue to send you promotional material and videotapes until
you select a speaker. We will then place a hold on the
speakers calendar for your event.
Once you have finalized your
decision we will send you a letter of agreement and a booking
packet including a photo, audio-visual requirements, biography,
introduction, pre-program questionnaire and an invoice for a
deposit (50% of the speaking fee). We will continue to
hold the date pending arrival of the signed agreement and
deposit check. If you wish to audiotape or videotape the
speaker we will produce an additional taping contract and
include it in the package.
We will arrange conference calls
between the speaker and appropriate staff from your
organization, we will confirm details about the travel
arrangements, hotel accommodations, audio-visual requirements
and, when requested, send you masters of handouts for
duplication.
We will bill you for the balance
of the speaker fee and their expenses within five days after the
event. We will take care of all payments to the
speaker. During that time we will also ask you to provide
us with a post event evaluation of the speaker and a letter of
recommendation for their files, if appropriate.
