Donald T. Mock
Don Mock has over 18 years experience as a training
designer, trainer and consultant. He spent over eight years in the training department of
a Fortune 200 company doing a variety of training throughout the organization. Since 1980,
Don has been working with people to help them utilize more of their potential.
Don specializes in management/supervisory and leadership
training as well as "Low Ropes" an outdoor adventure based team building
training and has worked with a wide variety of organizations such as Amp, Inc., Air
Products, Hershey Foods, Bell Atlantic, Cellular One, Pittsburgh Plate Glass, Colgate
Palmolive (Mexico) and Land O'Lakes. From large companies and governmental agencies
to small business, Dons work has taken him throughout the United States and
overseas.
Dons strengths lie in his experience
and enthusiasm as well in his ability to relate his experience to a wide variety of
audiences to make learning fun. A practitioner of adult experiential learning techniques,
Don encourages participants to discover fundamentals of learning for themselves and to
apply this knowledge in the workplace, causing long-lasting, bottom line results.
Don is an adjunct instructor for Penn
States Master In Training and Development Program and is actively involved in the
American Society for Training and Developments (ASTD) "Train the Trainer
Workshops". He is also a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) for the Chauncey
Group in Princeton, NJ and delivers the customized "Service Excellence" program
to Bell Atlantic for ThinkIT.
Don completed his undergraduate work at Wilkes University
and earned his masters degree from Marywood College. Don has been certified by a variety
of training vendors including DDI, The Forum Corporation, Blanchard Training and
Development and Learning International.
